Possible side effects of Xanax

In case you experience any of the following side effects while taking Xanax, stop consuming the drug and contact your doctor immediately for further help:

- allergic reaction (difficulty breathing; closing of your throat; swelling of your lips, face, or tongue; or hives);
- sores in the mouth or throat;
- yellowing of the skin or eyes;
- rash;
- hallucinations or severe confusion
- changes in vision.

Other, less serious side effects while taking Xanax may be more likely to occur. In this case don’t cease taking Xanax and consult with your doctor if you’re experiencing the following conditions:

- drowsiness, dizziness, or clumsiness;
- depression;
- nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or constipation;
- difficulty urinating;
- vivid dreams;
- headache;
- dry mouth;
- decreased sex drive;
- changes in behavior.

Some other side effects not listed here may also occur when taking Xanax. Consult with your doctor or pharmacist in case you feel strange or are bothered by something while taking the drug.
